Reception equipment for the largest Russian satellite TV operator "Tricolor TV" transmission was installed at the CN PECLA site in Moscow within the frame of cooperation between the General Satellite Corporation and the National Committee for Promoting Economic Cooperation with Latin American countries.

The system developed by the General Satellite Corporation which is unique in the CIS countries, has been efficiently used since 2007 by the leading Russian satellite TV operator "Tricolor TV". It allows to control television multiplex services (packages of TV programs), geographical distribution, registration of viewers, as well as to receive feedback from subscribers and even to show on a TV screen a personal message to a specific subscriber CSMW makes it possible to send a warning to the population in case of emergency regardless of whether receiver is turned on or channel being watched. It has become a de-facto industry standard to install this or similar system in the process of transition from analog broadcasting to digital in order to make full use of the whole range of new possibilities.
